Beach Pea

Just one more Koster painting before returning to the book illustrations that will keep me busy for most of the summer. The seeds of the wonderful Beach Pea float around in the sea for years before germinating on a sand or gravel beach, which explains the species' wide native range covering the shores of Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
