Wheatear

Kullen is one of the places I have dubbed the most beautiful one in the world and it's also a great spot for watching migrating birds as well as nesting ravens, peregrines, and wheatears, to mention a few species. This is a male wheatear that my wife and I encountered on our annual two-day honeymoon.

This is a wonderful representation of the bird - it is alive in the landscape which itself is perfectly rendered, without fuss nor unnecessary detail. A beautiful moment captured - during one of you annual beautiful moments.
Marvellous!
