Arctic Tern

The raspy calls of the Arctic Tern make an essential part of the summer atmosphere of the Baltic Archipelagos. This one is perching on a long-abandoned stone jetty in Ragnabo, Småland.

jawsalI Like very much the sense of back light in the rock and tern's body. Good work! Greetings!

It's always a pleasure to receive your comments. I am doing more and more backlight paintings these days and love to do it as simple as I can.

I agree with the rest - the backlight effect is beautiful. The shape of the bird is also very well captured. Good job!
