Kumba and his new friends made a traditional Christmas hut of palm leaves. Bene showed me how to plait the leaves which I guess is the old way of building houses in Lomé, now a completely modern city.

How do they use the x-mas hut?
I don't know really. I'll ask Bene tomorrow.
Bene says the children celebrate their own Christmas there, with food, songs and chatting, after they participated in the ordinary, "adult" Christmas.
